If I were two faced, would I be wearing this one?

God must love the common man, he made so many of them.

You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.

America will never be destroyed from the outside.  If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.

We should be too big to take offense and too noble to give it.

You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could do for themselves.

You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative and independence.

He has a right to criticize, who has a heart to help.

Tact is the ability to describe others as they see themselves.

Wanting to work is so rare a merit that it should be encouraged.

It has been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues.

What kills a skunk  is the publicity it gives itself.

If you wish to win a man over to your ideas, first make him your friend.

You may fool all the people some of the time, you can even fool some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all the time.
